Art lovers are flocking to a Honiton gallery to buy beautiful pieces
with a small price tag.Gallery Bel-ami, in the High Street, is
staging the Affordable Art show until Saturday.
It is selling a series of paintings and artwork, all with price tags
under £100, in an event staged in collaboration with Peter Goodhall,
a professional artist and tutor.
He said: "We have locally a lot of real artistic talent and there
are some artists who have not yet had the chance to show their work
to its full potential."
Gallery curator Emma Ranson Bellamy said: "The show has been a super
opportunity for art lovers to pick up an unpolished gem or just to
buy a piece of original art that will add something to their home,
which they can enjoy every day.
"Whatever the motivation, it is hoped that people will make time to
come and visit it in its last week."
