Our homes should be a retreat, a way to truly be ourselves and to express our creativity through our taste and decoration. Bel-ami can be loosely translated as Beautiful friend. That is what we believe a great piece of furniture a wonderful painting or a cup of tea after a long days shopping can be. 

Our philosophy at Bel-ami is to create a unique shopping experience. 3 rooms packed full of antiques, objet d’art, interiors and gifts. 

In our Gallery, by holding regular exhibitions of art from Devon and beyond, we aim to present affordable, inspirational and aspirational art from Devon artists.

Finally, our welcoming  café offers all day light bites, sumptuous cakes, treats and speciality teas, coffees and juices.
